The kick-off meeting of the VETech - Digital Skills for Tomorrow's SMEs Erasmus+ small scale partnership project took place in Veszprém on March 26, 2025.
Three project partners, the Personal Training EOOD (Bulgaria), the European Center for Social Science, Culture and Sport (Greece) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Veszprém (Hungary) are implementing the 18-month project in collaboration, which aims to develop the digital skills of students and teachers participating in the vocational education and training sector (shortly VET sector) and support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in such a way that the digital skills development of vocational education actors is in line with the needs of market players.
As project partners we work together to develop innovative, digital educational practices and the methodological tools necessary for these.
The kick-of event was organized by the project lead partner, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Veszprém in Hungary, Veszprém. Representatives of all three parties participated in the meeting, and we defined the foundations of the joint work in the coming months.
The project launch event – also known as kick-off meeting – plays an important role in all international cooperation, as its main goals are the followings:
- get to know each other and each other's institutions,
- review the project objectives and implementation schedule,
- clarify responsibilities and communication processes,
- agree on short- and long-term tasks, and
- reach a common denominator in terms of working methods and expectations.
In accordance with the above points, during this event, the parties presented their own institutions and fields of expertise, then we went through the tasks undertaken in the project, determined the working methods, deadlines, and responsibilities.
The kick-off meeting was constructive, all the partners are committed to the successful implementation of the project.
We closed the event with a cultural program and visited the recently opened Code Digital Experience Center in Veszprém.
